Rising out from a site of the former Robert Taylor Homes in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, the XS Tennis and Education Foundation serves its mission of providing Chicago’s underserved youth with an enriching safe haven through its community-based tennis and academic programs. To envision the future vision for XS Tennis, SEEK is master planning a series of architectural interventions, additions, and buildings around the core of the XS Tennis Village.

The future master plan vision of XS Tennis is highlighted by a prominent restaurant addition, residences, and a hotel to fully support the community in hospitality services. There are also substantial affordable home ownership options with a new construction six-flat building and numerous townhomes. All of these elements respond to the activities of the existing tennis center, providing needed programs and uses that will make this an international destination for the development of tennis activities.
