Tiny Giants Early Learning Center is a family-owned company, established in 2014, with a passion for providing quality childcare and creating environments where children and teachers can thrive and grow. Situated at a prominent intersection across from Horner Park, the site accommodates a four-story building that houses residential apartments, office spaces, and a Tiny Giants Early Childhood Education Center that anchors the development. The design concept draws inspiration from children’s building blocks—simple forms that spark creativity and exploration. This idea is most vividly expressed in the daycare, where classroom groups are arranged as individual “blocks,” each defined by a distinct color. The use of color not only creates a playful, vibrant environment but also helps children identify their classroom “block,” fostering a sense of belonging.

The daycare’s facade features windows of varying shapes and sizes, designed at child-friendly heights to encourage children to sit, play, and observe the world outside from different perspectives. These playful openings also allow natural light to filter into the classrooms from multiple angles. At the heart of the daycare is an indoor play space where children can engage with one another as well as with interactive walls and floors, supporting physical activity, social interaction, and sensory exploration.

While the block concept is most pronounced on the ground floor, it carries through the upper levels of the building in a more subtle manner, creating a cohesive architectural identity that celebrates creativity, community, and a sense of place.
